David Cunsolo

Lead Pastor

I was born and raised in Long Island, NY in a Christian family. Mom & Dad were great mentors in many, many ways. I have one sister who still lives in Long Island.

God has blessed me with the most wonderful wife, Kathy, who is my best friend and partner in life and ministry. Together we have four children: Christi (married to Adam), Angela (married to Daniel), and Michael (married to LaDonna) and Stephen. Angela and Daniel have blessed us with four grandchildren: Claire, Peter, Nicholas, and Joy. Mike and LaDonna have blessed us with two grandchildren, Frank and Alice.

I graduated from Wheaton College with a double major in Bible and Christian Education. I was first on a pastoral staff as a youth pastor at First Assembly of God in Joliet, IL where I met Kathy. We were married on November 26, 1976. We then went on to Bethel Church in Quincy, IL, and finally here to Victory Church (formerly First Assembly of God) in Winchester, VA on January 1st, 1979. I first served as Children’s Pastor and Minister of Christian Education here in Winchester, then Senior Associate and Children’s Pastor (1979-2006), and then Lead Pastor (2006 – present). I am indebted to two mentors in ministry, Rev. Albert Andreasen, and Rev. Hartley Wigfield for their teaching, love, example, and wisdom.

Kathy and I love to scout out little antique shops, and yard sales/flea markets! I like to woodwork, refinish antiques, remodel, build small projects, and play with the grandkids(!),etc.

One thing that most people don't know about me: Standing up in front of the congregation every Sunday to lead a gathering or to preach pretty much unnerves me! I am grateful that whom God calls, He equips, because it is only the Holy Spirit who gives me the power to lead and fulfill the calling God has placed on my life.

One thing that fascinates me: God’s amazing ways of weaving the tapestries of our lives—in spite of us!

Len Burdick

Senior Associate / Worship Pastor

I am the youngest of nine children, born to a Filipino mother and American father. I received my degree in psychology from Fredonia State University in New York. I interned with my home church in Carthage, New York, before taking time to travel as a vocalist and speaker in the Northeast United States.

I moved to Virginia in 1986, and began teaching and leading worship at Word of Life Assembly of God in Springfield, inside the Beltway. Eventually I became the worship pastor, and enjoyed over ten years of ministry there. It is where I met my beautiful future wife, Susette – we were married on July 19, 1997.

We answered the call to First Assembly of God (now Victory Church), where I became the worship pastor in January of 1997. Since then, we have become parents to a lovely daughter, Layne Alexis, who was born in 2000.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here in the Shenandoah Valley – our tenure has been filled with incredible spiritual and emotional growth – years shaped by opportunities for leadership, maturity, wisdom, and insight. I can’t thank God enough for His hand of blessing and grace on our lives, and the wonderful people we have grown to love, appreciate, and work with.

I love music – listening, playing, creating. I also enjoy traveling, hiking, reading, speaking, and setting goals.

One thing that most people: I am an avid boxing fan – my current favorite fighter is Manny Pacquiao.

One thing that fascinates me: How much more there is to learn and discover about God, the world, and life.

Keith Cross

Children/Youth Pastor

I grew up in Hampton Roads, Virginia, where at age 19 my life was transformed when I met Jesus. Soon after I accepted God’s plan to enter full-time ministry. To prepare for my ministry calling I studied at Holmes Bible College in Greenville, South Carolina. In 2004 I followed my calling to Centerville Christian Fellowship in Chesapeake, Virginia to serve as the Christian Education Director. My beautiful wife Angela and I were married on June18th, 2005 and we are so excited to welcome our first child, a baby girl, in September 2012!

Angela and I moved to Winchester, Virginia to accept the Children’s Pastors position in September, 2011. We are passionate about ministering to children! We love the families of Victory Church and we are so thankful that God brought us here to such a great community and Church.

In my free time I like to be out on a boat in the water somewhere, preferably saltwater fishing either inshore or offshore. I also enjoy watching sports, mostly football and basketball. Lately though, I have become proficient at slicing a golf ball of a tee. I’m working on that.

Two things that most people don't know about me: I watch the show “First Take” pretty much everyday. I own two pit-bulls that are crazy fun loving dogs.

One thing that fascinates me: How incredibly good God has been to me!

Cheryl Beasley

Connections Pastor/Pastoral Care

I am truly a southern girl, born in Tennessee, the oldest of six children. We are a large, loving family that knows how to have fun. I moved to Winchester in 1980 when I transferred into Shenandoah University. My education and work background has been a combination of Business Management and Finance.

Twenty-two years ago, I met and married the love of my life, Scott Beasley. Together we have been blessed with two beautiful daughters. Our oldest, Alena, is a college sophomore, and Jenny is a high school senior. Our life is super busy, but, oh so sweet.

It has been an incredible blessing to have been a part of the Victory family for the last sixteen years. I have been given the opportunity to serve in many ministries including Worship and Christian Education. However, five years ago the Lord called me to focus on Women’s Ministry here at Victory. This includes discipleship, mentoring, lay counseling, and teaching women how to apply God’s Word to their situations. I’m so thankful that every day is an opportunity to experience God’s love in our lives and share it with others.

One thing that most people don’t know about me: I’m a little competitive – in a fun way! (All those brothers)! I love playing games!

One thing that fascinates me: That God cares so deeply about all the parts of our lives, big and small. He’s always loving us and making a way.
